The Emthonjeni Trust

The Emthonjeni Trust gives support to people living with HIV and AIDS in the Eastern Cape in South Africa, particularly to a community where poverty and unemployment prevail and the rate of HIV infection remains alarmingly high. An estimated 5.6 million people were living with HIV and AIDS in South Africa in 2009, more than in any other country. In 2012 C2C will be funding 40 orphaned and deprived children between 4 and 7 years old to attend pre-primary school and the special after schoolclub for one-to-one special needs support and supervised play.
